New York, NY- A popular Domino’s pizza restaurant has been shut down after a surprise inspection by Domino’s Corporate offices. The inspection revealed the restaurant was using various brands of store bought frozen pizza’s to cut costs. It is said that hard times drove store owner, Walter Hughes to take such measures. Once corporate offices discovered the truth they quickly closed the doors to the store and revoked Walter Hughes’ franchisee status.
It is not known at the time of this writing if Domino’s will be seeking any legal action against Mr. Hughes, but his days of selling pizza for them is over. “We understand these are tough times and we have an in-house franchisee assistance program to help combat these tough times. Mr. Hughes decided to take matters into his own hands and that is not acceptable”, official Domino’s statement.
